What if it rains?
Generally, our tours operate rain or shine, except in cases of extreme weather, which will be determined solely at our discretion based off of local weather alerts. Light rain won't cancel it. But rain combined with wind and/or cold, could be miserable. And we want you to have an awesome experience.
In short, check your email prior to the tour.
*IMPORTANT: If we must cancel a tour, we will EMAIL YOU (the person who booked the tour) at least 1 hour prior to the tour start. So, WATCH YOUR EMAILS just before the tour and check your spam folder. We may not have a chance to make phone calls. This email will include an offer of a full refund or rescheduling. Please note that full refunds are only available if we cancel the tour.
Do you offer private tours or can we schedule a date not on your calendar?
Whether for your work crew, friends or family (just the ones you like) we've got a spooky experience to fit your needs. If our posted dates don't work for your group or you just want something private, no worries. Just give us a shout so we can work out a time for some spooky fun with your group. There is a minimum of 10 guests to schedule a Private Tour or open up a non-private date on your schedule. These dates are not-guaranteed, as we work with our guides' schedules. But we will do our best to make it work.
The costs are the same per person for private and special-dated non-private tours. All costs must be paid prior to the tour.
Are your ghost tours kid-friendly?
While we aim for our tours to be family-friendly, we encourage parents and guardians to use their discretion when deciding if a ghost tour is suitable for their children. Some little ones love a bit of the creepy. Some do not. And that's okay. Our content is primarily based on historical facts, which run the spectrum from fun and weird to dark and unsettling. We strive to present these facts honestly without sugar-coating them. So, while we welcome the young ones, please help us by making sure they are are prepared.
Are your tours wheelchair accessible?
We strive to make sure our tour is fully accessible. Our current tour route does utilize one set of stairs. However, if you are unable to use stairs, we do have an option with a short detour to a ramp that will not lessen your experience. So, don't be afraid to ask!
Please know that much of our walk through this historical city includes walkways that are 'historically aged' including old cobblestone and brick.
Do you offer gift cards?
Absolutely! For the spooktacular friend or family member in your life, you can't go wrong with the gift of a Lynchburg Ghost Tour. Nothing says "you're kinda awesome" as uniquely as a night on the town together - on a ghost tour. Get gift cards here.
What's your cancellation policy?
All public tour tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable within 24 hours of the scheduled tour time.
With a minimum of 48 hours notice, tickets may be rescheduled to another available date without penalty.
Private tour deposits (if required) are non-refundable within 7 days of the scheduled tour. Requested scheduling adjustments within 7 days of the scheduled tour may be permitted at our sole discretion and pending availability.
